Meet Mikahla

Mikahla is a graduate from Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH). In her practice she has experience working with patients who are living with cancer, managing pain, and supporting the immune system. She is able to assist her patients in easing many chronic and acute complaints such as back and neck pain, muscular injuries, Rheumatoid arthritis, depression, anxiety, fertility, digestion issues (acid reflux, IBS), and headaches/migraines to name a few. Mikahla supports her patients both physically and emotionally with her understanding of healing and acupuncture. She also includes the use of essential oils  to enhance the beneficial treatment effects. 

Mikahla also has a passion for horses, and has completed her animal acupuncture certification. She continues to co-teach at MUIH in the equine acupuncture certification. Mikahla has been riding and training horses since she was four years old and continues today. She has supported horses with acupuncture with many issues such as arthritis, joint inflammation, lameness, digestion complications, stress/anxiety, COPD (heaves), facial paralysis, just to name a few. Mikahla also supports cats and dogs with her acupuncture knowledge. 

In addition to traditional acupuncture treatments, Mikahla is also certified in facial rejuvenation acupuncture. She strongly believes in providing a natural, holistic, and safe way to gracefully enhance the skin using the finest techniques available to her patients.
